Boston Ski Party

The Boston Ski Party Youth Race Development Program has become one of the most highly regarded instructional and recreational race programs in the country. Through a unique partnership with Pat’s Peak (www.patspeak.com) in Hennicker, N.H. more than 40 youth will participate in a 12-week structured introduction to racing program for skiers and snowboarders. Instruction is provided by experienced Pat’s Peak race instructors and coaches. The program will take place on select Sunday’s from mid December through March. Youth will participate in “dry land” and “on mountain” training facilitated by race coaches from Pats Peak. “Dry Land” training dates are 11/17 and 12/8. “On mountain” dates are Sundays from 1/06/08 through 3/09/08. Youth are expected to participate in at least six of these scheduled dates. Cost of the program without transportation is $250 for the first child, $225 for the second, and $200 for the third. For those who register before November 3, 2007 and who make final payment prior to November 9th, the cost of the program will be reduced by $50 per youth – a significant savings! Space will be limited.

Transportation to the Mountain is the responsibility of the Parents although parents may choose to work together by using car pools. This has worked well in the past. If transportation is needed or if a parent is unable to participate on a given weekend, a limited number of seats may be available each week on buses/vans provided by Youth Enrichment Services. There will be an additional cost of $15 to $20 per seat. Reservations for seats on the bus must be made in advance through the Youth Director at least two weeks before the weekend transportation is needed. PARENT PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROGRAM IS REQUIRED.

Race Program Participants will be encouraged to participate as a team in Tri-State Race events at New England area mountains. Race dates to be determined.
