Youth Program
Mission The mission of the Boston Ski Party Youth Program is to introduce young people ages 4-17 and their families to the sport of skiing. Participants in the program will build their skill and confidence skiing and snowboarding. We strive to engage young people in the sport of skiing as a recreation that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle. The Boston Ski Party Youth Program consists of three core areas: |
Parent Participation/Volunteers Needed The Boston Ski Party Youth Program has enjoyed tremendous success in large part to a host of committed parents and volunteers who actively participate in the program. Parents and volunteers help out with transportation, serve as coaches, instructors, “lodge leaders” and assist with a range of other efforts. They are truly the heart of the program. As a club that is dedicated to serving youth, and families we welcome your active participation. You can help out even if you do not ski! We can also train you to instruct youth and to help out while skiing on the mountain. For more information or to volunteer please contact Richard Ward at 617-504-7843. |
Partnering with YES Boston Ski Party has a unique partnership and long relationship with Youth Enrichment Services, a local non-profit organization. Many of our current members learned to ski through Y.E.S. Our relationship allows us to “give back” -- as trained Y.E.S volunteers we introduce and teach skiing, snowboarding, hiking and cycling. The Youth program relies on the support and involvement of parents and/or guardians. Come out and play! You may be a future Olympian. |
Youth and families also enjoy sledding, biking, hiking, movie nights and other active and healthy lifestyle activities all year round. Register NOW! |
